Keeping Track of Aussies

Hello everyone and welcome to my new blog.
I'm starting this blog because I wanted to keep track of my new Australian friends who I've met through blogger. Of course it shouldn't matter in this big friendly world of the internet. However, for some reason I really enjoy connecting with other people who share my passion who are a bit closer to home. Maybe it's the thought that I have more chance of meeting them one day?

Of course I also thought this might be a good resource for other Australians to keep track of one another as well. So feel free to follow the blog, make comments or suggestions. And of course please let me know if your link is broken.

Today I'll be on a bit of a steep learning curve as I try to work out how to create the link I want for this blog. I'll try to link to the people I've met already at blogger who I follow (or follow me) and I know they are Australian. If you are Australian and you don't have a blog for me to link to, perhaps you could follow the blog to help me (and other Australians) find you?

If I've missed you in the list below, please leave me a comment and I'll add you.

In Alphabetic order

Art Quilters Canberra
Aussie Hero Quilts And Laundry Bags
Blue Mountain Daisy
Enjoying Life
EveryStitch
Gladys and Maude
Kimzees Sewing Room
Lakeview Stitching
Mand-a-Lin
Patchwork Fundamentals
PEACE by Piece
Retired Dairy Queen
Sew Downunder
Springwood Community Quilt Show
Sydney SC Quilters

I'm sure there will be many more to come ... just taking a break to do some house work (yay)

One last question ... please comment ... would you prefer the list was only blogs active in the last 12 months ... or all blogs?

  1. Trying to make a comment again.

Thanks for the acknowledgment. I'm afraid I have been absent from blogging for a while now. I keep getting little niggling reminders to get back to it.
    I'm trying.
I'll have to figure out how to do it from the iPad as that gets more attention than my computer does these days.
    Worse thing I ever bought.

    Thanks for the reminder.

    1. Well its not such a bad thing if you can use it to get back into blogging!
But yes they are addictive. My daughter virtually sleeps with her ipod.
      Thanks for the comment.
